United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime is a specialized UN agency that leads international efforts to combat illicit drugs, organized crime, terrorism, and corruption. Established in 1997 and headquartered in Vienna, Austria, UNODC works with member states to strengthen legal frameworks, support criminal justice systems, and promote international cooperation. It provides research, policy guidance, and technical assistance in areas such as drug prevention, trafficking, human rights, and anti-corruption.
